Grace Hunter: Oh God, I'm not stupid enough to take her at her word.
Grace laughs and waves Harley's worry away with her hand.
Grace Hunter: It would definitely be in writing exactly how much I am suppose to make, how many hours I'm expected to work, and what my job entails. If she were trying to fuck me over, she'd get fucked over ten fold. But if I can get that kind of money for doing next to nothing? It might be worth it.
Grace pauses.
Grace Hunter: At least for a little bit. Right?
She bites her bottom lip, considering.

"True and it may help you to save a little back for another venture in the future. I still say you and I should both put some money back into a pool to start our own business in the future. Could be fun, at least in my mind it could be."
Harley smirked.
"No matter what, I know you'll make sure things are taken care of, same with me. But I'd like to someday not have to keep writing ya know?"

Grace Hunter: I thought you were enjoying the whole Lois Lane thing. Are you not?

She smiles.
"Yeah sure I am, it's just nice to think of being able to work with a friend and for ourselves someday. I like being a reporter and getting the big story, but it can be really dangerous sometimes."

Grace Hunter: Maybe you really do need a Superman posing as Clark Kent to go with you on your investigations.
She smiles
Grace Hunter: That boyfriend of yours know anything about writing? I think I might have a pair of black glasses he could put on as a disguise.

Harley laughs.
"As cool as that would be, I'm not sure he'd like it. He hates paperwork, so I'm unsure how he would feel about writing articles and stuff. But I guess we could always find out."

Grace Hunter: Yeah, seems more like the action type.
She shrugs as she finishes her food
Grace Hunter: I'm considering the whole Crystal thing for now though. Like if she's a major bitch, I can always just walk. Maybe she just needs someone to keep her in line. Call her out on her bullshit. Who knows maybe I can turn her into a decent human being.
Yeah, Grace wasn't stupid. It was a long shot, but at least she'd get paid triple for her time and effort. Who else would be stupid enough to offer that to an employee.

Harley laughs.
"Not sure it's worth the stress, but it's always great to know you stay active and busy. I'm sure David appreciates you helping out with bills and stuff, even though I'm sure you guys can handle that without jobs considering all the money we made wrestling."

Grace Hunter: Yeah, we certainly aren't hurting in the financial department. Between his wrestling career, movie career, and my modeling career...our savings account is pretty substantial. But it never hurts to keep adding to it.

"that's true, gotta make sure theirs plenty of money in the account for retirement, and the future."
Harley answered.
"You may want kids someday, or a new house, vehicles don't last forever either so it's just smart to keep adding money to the account. Or heck even if and when you want your own company...plenty of reasons right there."

Grace Hunter: Exactly. All of that. Anything I can do to make sure that we never want for anything in life, I'm going to do.
She reads another new message on her phone.
Grace Hunter: She is wanting you to come too...

"For what?"
Harley asks.
"She wanting us both to work for her? I sort of have an article to do, but I'll head over there with you."

Grace Hunter: I think she is leaning more towards you writing an article for the restaurant, promoting it...getting more people there. You know publicity, but I could be wrong.
Grace gets up, ready to throw her trash away.
Grace Hunter: If you need to get home, we can wrap things up here.

"Yeah I need to head back and finish some paper work for the next column. Shouldn't take long if you wanna hang out some more later?"
Harley threw her trash away.
"That and I could try a review for her restaurant but I'd need to try a few of their menu items to make a good article."

Grace Hunter: Well let me meet with her first and see if it's even worth your time. If she just wants to meet up with me to be a bitch and isn't serious about this job offer, I'm not going to waste your time.
Grace gathers up her shopping bags
Grace Hunter: I'll text you later tonight and let you know how things go.
They say goodbye to one another and both head in different directions once they get to the parking lot.
End of Thread
